Residence Inn by Marriott Louisville Downtown

Our stay here was quite pleasant. The service we received was consistently attentive and made our visit very comfortable, especially since it's an all-suite hotel. We appreciated the smooth check-in and responsiveness from the staff

Excellent! Staff were amazing and friendly. The room was perfect for our stay including everything needed to make dinner and chill with movies after a long day traveling and visiting local distilleries. We would stay here again the next time we are in the area or even needing to stop while driving through.

The hospitality of this hotel Is immaculate the front desk guy was amazing he answered all our requests and questions. The breakfast spread was also satisfactory lots to choose from only con I have to report is the beds lol the beds was a bit stiff but other then that amazing experience will book with this location again

Expedia charged me and has issues with booking. The host was super great about it, booked me a new room and honored the deal, I cancelled the reservation through expidia who confirmed with the hotel. Easiest 3rd party mix up ive had to deal with. The room was clean, had a sponge and back up soap for dishes. The hot tub was so nice, not too much chemicals, comfortable bed, appreciated the garage parking option, particularly during an ice storm. The breakfast could use. The muffins were not fresh, the mini prepackaged quiche was alright. Happy they had boiled eggs and greek yogurt cups.

Everything was perfect! Stayed with 2 kids and they were very happy with stay. Great location. Clean room. Nice Breakfast. Above all, reception associate Pat was amazing. Very nice and kind! Truly 5 stars experience :)

The room was comfortable. The kitchen needed some attention, the tile floor was filthy. The dishwasher was not secured under the counter and the racks kept sliding out the tracks when trying to use it. The wheels were falling off the bottom rack too. The shower did not drain well and kept clogging up, plus the glass doors leaked no matter how they were closed. It was really annoying. We used a lot towels to dry the floor after use. The staff was nice. The gym was decent and the pool/spa seemed clean and well maintained.

The Residence Inn Louisville Downtown was a perfect hotel location for our Louisville vacation! Room was clean, hotel was clean, and the breakfasts were excellent. Lots of options to choose from and seating was ample. It is walking distance from so many distilleries and tasting rooms restaurants. We thought parking was free, but ended up being around $21 a day to park in the garage which was kind of a bummer. At least offer your guests complimentary parking at your hotel! That is a one star deduction because there is literally nowhere to park your vehicle without parking meters around the area. Come on Residence Inn! Get it right. We did enjoy our few nights there, the minor league ballpark is literally a block away and have regular Friday-Sunday games in the summer. Fireworks if they win! They have an indoor pool and hot tub with towels as well. It's not monitored, a family of 8 came in with young kids and a toddle. A few of the young kids and even the toddler were in the hot tub. Not safe at all, they would benefit having someone check on that a few times a day. There was a table in our room to eat, and adequate pots, pans and utensils. The ice machine in the fridge was not working, and the front desk said " it takes a while to make ice". However it was on for 2 days and no ice. They did offer complimentary ice bags at the desk. That tells me they know the ice machines don't work in most rooms. There is a microwave and dishwasher as stated, and only an electric cooktop to cook, no oven as stated in Google. It's small, but gets the job done.

I stay at Marriott properties often and have never experienced customer service like this before. I cannot recommend enough! Everything was perfect-from booking (shoutout to Rachel for making the process easy and for everything she did. If you are ever planning a trip especially an event please consider the residence inn and speak with Rachel). Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond. Lastly, my brother left a pair of sunglasses in the room and housekeeping contacted him immediately. Thank you so so much for your honesty. If you are looking for a place to book in Louisville, please consider this property!!
